Meet the Team

Cilla heads up the Abbott Mead Vickers Group, one of the most respected advertising and communications groups in the UK, serving clients including Sainsbury’s, BT, Camelot, BBC, Diageo, The Economist and PepsiCo.

The advertising agency has held the number one position in the UK for 15 years.

She sits on the boards of BBDO worldwide and the Council of the University of Birmingham. She is past Chairman of the Marketing Group of Great Britain.

She was awarded the CBE for services to the advertising industry in 2009.

Most importantly, she is Fred, Albert and Rosie’s mum.

Colin joined city law firm Harbottle & Lewis in 1979, became a partner in 1984 and was managing partner from 1992 to 2000. As the leader of the firm's Corporate and Commercial Group, Colin deals with a wide range of corporate, commercial, aviation, charity and regulatory work.

Colin is a non-executive director of an engineering consultancy (Power Scientific International Limited); and of a theatre production company (Pola Jones Associates Limited). He is a trustee of ONE20, which focuses on campaigning and facilitating work to promote volunteering. Colin was educated at Ipswich School and Oriel College, Oxford and the College of Law.

George Entwistle was appointed Director of BBC Vision in April 2011. He is in charge of one of the world's leading multimedia content groups, commissioning, producing and broadcasting across BBC television and the web.

A member of the BBC's Executive Board, the Director, Vision, is responsible for BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three, BBC Four, BBC One HD, BBC HD, BBC Films, Vision Productions and has editorial oversight for UKTV.

Imelda Walsh joined Sainsbury’s in October 2001 and was appointed as Group HR Director in 2004. Imelda was also a member of the Operating Board until she left Sainsbury’s in July. In 2008, Imelda led an independent review of the proposed extension of the right to request flexible working to parents of older children, on behalf of the Government. Currently Imelda is a member of the Board of The Institute of Employment Studies and one of 5 commissioners looking into the future provision of workplace pensions and other forms of saving.

Prior to joining Sainsbury’s, Imelda held a number of senior HR roles, in Barclay's, Coca Cola and Schweppes Beverages and Diageo.

Imelda has a degree in Modern History and Politics from Manchester University and a master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the London School of Economics.

Imelda is married with 3 children.

Jim Hytner joined UM, the highly acclaimed global media agency, as president of its European, Middle East and African region, in 2009. Prior to this, Jim had been global marketing director of Barclays, from 2004 to 2009. In this role, Jim was responsible for the direction of the Barclays global brand, as well as the commercial performance of Barclays in the UK.

Before his foray into banking, Jim worked at ITV as commercial and marketing director and also held roles at Channel 5 and BSkyB, both times as marketing director. Jim studied at Wharton Business School, where he has subsequently lectured on marketing strategy. He is a proud trustee of Comic Relief and chairman of Logan Sports.

Mike has been proprietor of his own management consultancy company for 25 years. In addition to his role as Treasurer of Comic Relief he is a business advisor to the Prince's Youth Business Trust and a Trustee and Treasurer of BAFTA.

He is non-executive director of several media based companies. He is married to Wendy and they have three children and several dogs.

Richard is Co-founder of Comic Relief. He has co-produced all of Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day shows for the BBC which, along with Sport Relief, have so far raised over half a billion pounds.  

As a writer, his credits include Blackadder and the Vicar of Dibley and the films Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, Love Actually and Bridget Jones's Diary.

Suzi began her career in magazine journalism and after four years transferred her skills to television. She is now a freelance television producer, working in comedy and entertainment embracing TV programmes and live events. To this day, Suzi considers producing TFI Friday, Channel 4's seminal music entertainment show of the 90s, to be one of the most exciting and rewarding jobs of her career. She considers herself incredibly lucky to have worked for some of the country's most outstanding talent: Paula Yates, Chris Evans, Russell Brand, Jonathan Ross, James Corden, Jamie Oliver and many more. 

Suzi has worked as a producer on Red Nose Day for over a decade now, having first met Richard Curtis when producing a TFI Friday special for the campaign in 1999. When not working on the Red Nose Day TV campaign, she produces a number of different shows including The Jonathan Ross Show, The Brits and the British Comedy Awards.

Tristia is Executive Director of Commercial at the TalkTalk Group, where she has responsibility for delivering the commercial plan for the UK’s second largest internet service provider.

Prior to working for Talk Talk, Tristia worked at The Carphone Warehouse Group, the parent company from which Talk Talk demerged in March 2010. Her roles there included head of marketing, UK marketing director and group marketing director. Before joining The Carphone Warehouse in 2000, Tristia worked in corporate communications at Kingsfisher on a long-term secondment from corporate communications agency Charles Barker BSMG.

Tristia is a Trustee at the national autism charity Treehouse.
