The role:
You will liaise with production teams undertaking TV work for Comic Relief, providing logistical support where necessary and will take full responsibility on some projects as production co-ordinator.
The Production Officer manages the production of videos and compilation tapes as well as having responsibility for the resource centre, providing advice to Producers on using Comic Relief’s existing footage. You are the point of information on the progress of TV work for all other Comic Relief teams and are also responsible for co-ordinating the use of footage internally.
The candidate:
You must have substantial experience of working in television or video production and of a busy office environment. Your ability to see projects through from start to finish and communicate with people at all levels of the organisation will also be essential as will your flexible approach, enabling you to jump straight in to any project. Production experience would also be of benefit, as would a competence in filming and AVID editing.
