Eligible Countries
Eligible countries for the street and working children and young people grants programme 2005-2008
As our overall grant-making focus is on Africa, we will make grants for work in any Africa country or group of countries. We will also make a limited number of strategic and projects grants for work outside of Africa. Project grants for work outside Africa must be able to show their work is original by describing how the work will use new or creative approaches to familiar problems.
Eligible countries will be those countries in South Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean where the International Labour Organisation (ILO) has recognised there to be a high incidence of working children, including street children, and implementing its International Programme for Elimination of Child labour (IPEC).
