Shaving, waxing and dancing volunteers!
What a night! Here at Barclays Bank we had over 1,000 volunteers helping Comic Relief take donations from the public. The centre was buzzing with excitement and after our head shaving, back and chest waxing, danceathon, fun fair and many raffles we were in a great mood to support Red Nose Day 2007.
Leading up to the night all we saw was red as the centre was decorated red, red, red!
We opened 470 lines and took over 26,000 calls leading to £880,000 in donations. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves – it was a great night for a great charity.
