IBM Greenock
A Big Success for The Big One!

A huge team effort ensured call taking and fundraising for Comic Relief at IBM Greenock site on Friday 16 March was a big success!
A huge £150,000 was taken via the IBM Greenock contact centre, through 4,500 calls from the public making donations. In addition, over £3,500 was raised throughout the site with various fundraising activities - from painful chest waxing, car washing, home baking sales, head shaving, ‘Stars in their Eyes’ contests and a fabulous prize raffle.
Over 130 employees at IBM volunteered to assist on the night, along with 70 from the local community – including friends and family, Duncan McNeil MSP and pupils from Port Glasgow High School and Gourock High School.
