M&S Money
We fought it out for Duvet Days and bubbly
This was the first time M&S Money offered call centre support to Comic Relief - it was great to transform our business into Red Nose Central for the evening.
The response from employees was great! 232 volunteers took donations in return for an evening of food, fun and prizes including duvet days, extra holiday, bubbly and chocolates. With such prizes up for grabs competition was fierce but fun!
Call handling at times was very hectic, but we all kept our cool. Everyone involved got a real sense of personal satisfaction from being able to directly contribute to the success of this fantastic event.
During the evening we were extremely proud to have taken a phenomenal 4741 calls resulting in a staggering £142,469.
In addition to call centre support, employees raised a fabulous £3,301 for Comic Relief by ironing, shoe-shining, car-washing and running a red themed treasure hunt.
