Rolling out the red carpet!
Resolution rolled out the red carpet for Red Nose Day. The 220-strong team of volunteers in Glasgow and Wythall took more than 6,200 calls and over £217,000 in donations.
Wythall colleagues spent the evening at the circus, complete with a striped tent! A highlight of the evening was the catwalk contest, where the zebra took first place. In Glasgow, the theme was school, and the volunteers dressed the part. Team leaders dished out homework and tested students’ knowledge with activities. Break times were well spent with a space-hopper race and other antics.
Additionally, dress-down day, food sales and raffles in Glasgow, Liverpool and Wythall generated close to £6,000. In the Wythall restaurant, every dish matched the occasion — red custard included! There was also a cake baking competition inspired by Jamie Oliver’s Little Book of Big Treats.
