BT - London

The BT Tower was transformed from a corporate event & conference venue into a live call centre capable of seating 120 operators with full IT access in order to take donations online. Work stations were split across the famous revolving floor – 158m above London and the ground floor where some of the 160 volunteers worked alongside the Comic Relief ‘bunker’.  This is where the Comic Relief team base themselves, enabling them to liaise with all other call centres, the gallery at the BBC studios as well as the BT network management team who provide live – up to the minute – statistics on the networks performance.
