Volunteers at Domestic & General took £71,513.50 in six hours for Sport Relief. Over 160 staff gave their time to take donation calls in an office decorated in red and white. Cheers were heard as pledges taken topped the 2008 total by over £1,500. Mayor Ann Norman visited and took the first call of the night, joined by Brighton & Hove Albion’s cheerleaders and giant seagull Gully! Staff in Olympic themed fancy dress enjoyed sports challenges before taking to the phones, with prizes and food donated by local businesses.
