Employees at Vertex supported Sport Relief by volunteering to answer donation calls and undertaking their own fun, fundraising events. The contact centre team in Dingwall, Ross-shire answered a total of 1900 calls; raising over £62,000 in donations during five hours manning the phones. At Vertex UK sites, employees raised money through a "Vertex Steeple Chase", egg and spoon races, a Sport Relief quiz and a charity football tournament. The fundraising highlight was to walk the distance equivalent of Dingwall to Westminster (574 miles) in laps around the contact centre. The Vertex team raised £3,777.17.
