I will confess at this stage to being a little nervous about whether we could get the required 70+ volunteers to man the lines. I needn’t have been. They came in thick and fast, brimming with enthusiasm, energy and dedication! Armed with a Sport Relief goodie bag, copious amounts of pizza and several televisions screening the BBC festivities, our 8 teams of volunteers set about competitively bringing in the donations. Prizes could be won for highest donation of the hour, most donations and importantly ‘sportiest name’. Highlight of the night? Our Vice President and General Manager Pepe Vazquez-Mendez collecting more donations than our initially ultra-confident Director of Service Delivery Optimisation Arnaud Carette! We just wish we could do it every Friday.
