Close to 300 Good Sports!
Almost 300 good sports at The Co-operative Financial Services (CFS) gave up their Friday night to join in the fun and take calls on the official Sport Relief 2010 donation line.
The volunteers - based in CFS' Manchester and Leek contact centres showed support with their 'sport-themed' fancy dress while handling almost 6,500 calls and donations approaching £200,000.
Tim Franklin, chief operating officer at CFS, said: "Sport Relief - one of the UK's biggest fundraising events - has once again brought the nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives. I’m really proud that our exceptional team here at CFS were part of it."
