More than 120 volunteers, including HomeServe employees, their friends and family, gave up their evening to man the phones in aid of Sport Relief. During the live Sport Relief show, HomeServe’s Walsall call centre received 3,891 calls from the public and raised an incredible £125,573.44 in donations.

The Mayor & Mayoress of Walsall and Mr Bruce George, Labour MP for the Walsall South Constituency, welcomed volunteers on the night and thanked them for sparing the time to help collect donations. HomeServe took one donation for £999! A gentleman had won £1,000 at the Cheltenham Gold Cup and just kept £1 back, so he could place another bet on the horses!
