Sunderland City Council

Sunderland City Council once again put together a team of volunteers to take calls for Sport Relief and helped to process donations for this outstanding charity.

Over 100 staff donated their time to ensure that the Sport Relief was a huge success in the North East.  Whilst the majority worked on the phones there were also a team of support staff working to keep the night on track.

Volunteers got into the spirit of the event by taking part in raffles, balloon competitions and quizzes with the fun continuing throughout the evening.

Excitement spread quickly amongst the teams when large donations came in and the challenge has already been set as to who can take the most money next year!
