Yell's Reading Business File team was again an official call centre for Sport Relief.  From 7.00 p.m to midnight around 85 volunteers looked after the phones  - all wearing sporty gear  of course!  The call centre took £60,931.50 in donations during the evening from 1,822 calls – we even had one caller from Spain!  We had some large donations too, our largest, and very generous, donation was for £2,000.

The 3rd Tilehurst Brownies came in during the evening and rescued us all by serving the volunteers with drinks and food, kindly donated by local company Harbour & Jones.

Yell people in Reading also raised more than £2,500 in lots of very imaginative ways including raffles to win lots of sport-related prizes, a sponsored stair climb and a team running the Reading half marathon.  Yes we had another hectic and fun night supporting Sport Relief!
