There is a need amongst young, poor and marginalised people working in the informal economy (mostly as street traders) for advice and support in basic business management skills.
This project is piloting two business support centres, providing advice in management skills to marginalised street traders through trade associations. Africans in the UK are linked with business opportunities in Sierra Leone, and market links are in the process of being forged between Sierra Leone and the UK. This project also provides literacy and numeracy training.
