Asha Wyre Forest Centre
The Asha Wyre Forest Centre is a support service for Bangladeshi women living in the Horsefair region of Worcestershire. These women are experiencing isolation, loneliness and social exclusion. The Centre is helping to integrate the women into the wider community by giving them social confidence and access to services and opportunities that will enable them to play an active role in society. With this support, these women can make more informed decisions for themselves and their families and feel a real part of their local community. Comic Relief is enabling this group to extend their services and provide further classes and information sessions to the women in this disadvantaged area of Kiderminster.
