Artillery Youth Centre
The Artillery Youth Centre (AYC) always knew that the issue of violence would affect young people using their services; in North Belfast sectarian unrest and rioting have formed a backdrop for many young people. However, during recent ‘Violence Workshops’ the issue of domestic abuse was repeatedly raised.
With Comic Relief’s support, AYC is responding to this need by adapting their violence workshops to focus purely on abuse within the home. Comic Relief is supporting the youth centre to run the workshops and work with other local agencies to give the best possible support to young people involved in abuse.
