Family Welfare Association
Many young people who grow up in violent families are traumatised by what they witness. Young people usually have very little understanding of domestic violence and they don’t know how to keep safe and where to seek help.
Comic Relief is supporting the Family Welfare Association to run a special project that works in schools across Leicestershire to help 14-16 year-olds understand domestic violence. The project tells these young people where they can get vital support when they need it.
