Off the Record
When Young people grow up in households where domestic violence takes place, they often feel too scared to tell anyone and seek help. Off the Record is an organisation dedicated to offering free and confidential services for young people, and Comic Relief is giving them a grant to offer support to young victims of domestic violence through one-to-one sessions, group work and providing information and advice. They’re also going into schools to help young people develop healthy relationships in the future, rather than believing that a violent relationship is acceptable. This project is making sure that young people who feel incredibly afraid and alone because of domestic violence, now have somewhere to turn for help.
