Help the Aged Wales
Older people in rural areas often find it difficult to meet with others to share ideas about how to improve local services. Many older people in these communities are concerned about transport issues, provision of healthcare and age discrimination.
Help the Aged Wales facilitates the development of these groups to help older people campaign on issues that matter to them. Their grant from Comic Relief is enabling Help the Aged Wales to employ staff to work with older people in rural areas to develop forums and be actively involved in making their voices heard about decisions that affect their quality of life.
