Nubian Life Resource Centre
Many older African and African Caribbean people are some of the poorest and most marginalized pensioners in England. Many have faced years of discrimination and hardship, live alone and have poor health and high levels of long term illnesses.
Nubian Life Resource Centre's ‘Talking for Change’ advocacy project helps them to increase their confidence and assert their rights and access services which they need and to which they are entitled. Comic Relief’s support means the project can continue to help its members improve their quality of life.
