Yorkshire Mesmac (YM) were concerned that there were no services for young men and boys being abused through prostitution in Bradford so funds were raised to set up the BLAST project to help them. Young men and boys abused in this way often lead chaotic and dangerous lives and it can take many years for them to build the confidence and resources they need to be able to make positive choices in their lives and exit prostitution.
Comic Relief is helping them to carry out this work to provide vital support to abused young men so that they can lead safer and more fulfilling lives.
