The Inbetweeners rev it up on Rude Road Trip

Just as the nation prepares to do something funny for money in celebration of Red Nose Day 2011, the four stars of the hit comedy show The Inbetweeners are already paving the way by embarking on a naughty road trip to visit the rudest and crudest place names in the country.

The cheeky chaps, actors Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison (otherwise known as Will, Simon, Jay and Neil) have challenged themselves to visit 50 lewd locations in just 50 hours and are expected to stop off at places such as Minge Lane, Titty Ho and Bell End. And no, we’re not making these up.

Despite laughs a plenty along the way, the boys are on a serious mission to raise cash and help change lives - and they’re calling for the nation to show their support by making a donation to Comic Relief.

The funny foursome will travel along their risqué route in the classic yellow Fiat, a regular feature in the smash hit series, and the cameras will be rolling the entire time to catch all the banter as they navigate their way around the county in their rude race against the clock.

To help them reach their target in such a short space of time, the public are invited to suggest where the lads should visit through their Facebook page and they’ll take snaps at every location as proof of their loitering at the funniest named places in Britain.

So come on Fwends! Back the boys and make a donation to help them raise a packet. Your contribution will undoubtedly help to transform the lives of poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged people both here in the UK and across Africa.

We want to see your pics of rude place names around the UK – they might even make it into our film of the Road Trip or be featured on the Inbetweeners Facebook Page. Send pics to ruderoadtrip@comicrelief.com. For info on sending contributions, go to www.comicrelief.com/terms-use

Hilarious footage from the Rude Road Trip will also be available to buy exclusively on iTunes from February 3rd when Red Nose Day 2011 officially launches. In the meantime, you can download a free taster at iTunes now.
