Technical Project Manager (Infrastructure)
c.£40,000 Central London Permanent role
Think Comic Relief and you probably think Red Noses and celebrity antics – so we imagine you’ll be surprised at our ambitious plans to develop commercial applications to support our operations. It could be an online shop selling merchandise, a system to handle fundraising donations or an application to streamline grant-making – join our team and make projects like these a reality.
As well as providing an opportunity to use your technology skills for good, you will also have a chance to develop your skills by working with some of the world’s leading technology companies in some of the most exciting projects in the sector.
We currently have two opportunities: one requires detailed knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Software Architecture and Roadmap; the other requires detailed knowledge of donation and fundraising platforms. Whatever your area of specialism we’ll also expect you to be a successful project manager with an understanding of formal project management methodologies (PMP, Prince2 and/or Scrum) and the importance of analysing business need when drafting project requirements. However your expertise will extend way beyond the technical as you will be equally comfortable engaging with stakeholders, liaising with suppliers and managing project resources.
Comic Relief positively welcomes, and seeks to ensure we achieve, diversity in our workforce and that all job applicants and employees receive equal and fair treatment, regardless of age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or nationality. We encourage applications from disabled people as they are currently under-represented in the organisation and guarantee an interview to all disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria for the job. registered charity 326568
