Volunteer Placements

Our volunteer placements gives people the opportunity to learn and develop their skills in areas such as marketing, campaigning, media and PR, and celebrity liaison.

Recruitment starts between the summer and autumn, with placements beginning in September and lasting for three to six months. Volunteers are mentored by a Comic Relief member of staff, there to help them get the most out of their time with us. An induction and training is also provided.

While our placements are unpaid, reasonable travel and lunch expenses are reimbursed.

Previous volunteers have gone on to work for PR agencies, write for national newspapers or returned to work with us!
