Do you want to be part of something huge?
29th May 2009
Sport Relief is back in March 2010 and it’s going to be the biggest yet! More Miles, more famous faces, more top TV and more ways to do good by doing sport.
Taking place on 21st March 2010, the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile will again be at the heart of the campaign, with hundreds of thousands of people from all over the UK participating to raise cash and help change lives.
Right now, we’re looking for organisers to run Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile events in towns and villages up and down the UK – which is where you come in!
The events themselves are all about giving people the chance to rise to the challenge for Sport Relief, to raise money and most importantly, to have fun. You don’t have to be an Olympic Gold Medallist to do a Mile. From running novices to marathon pros - the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile will cater for everyone and literally anyone can get involved.
Why is the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile so important?
In 2008 over 134,000 people took part in hundreds of Sport Relief Mile events up and down the UK – organised by people like you! When people participate in a Mile event in 2010 they will again have the option to complete one, three or six miles to raise money and help change the lives of vulnerable people both at home and in the world’s poorest countries. To make sure that Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile events are happening all over the UK, we need your help. Please get on board and help make Sport Relief 2010 a huge success.
