Convergys - Newcastle

Convergys employees in Newcastle volunteered to handle telephone calls and took more than £100,000 in donations for Red Nose Day 2011. Convergys employees also mixed business with pleasure, contributing more than £1,300 in their own donations to the Red Nose Day initiative. The employee donations were raised through special activities including “Wearing Something Funny for Money”, a “soak in the stocks” with employees dousing willing co-workers with wet sponges as well as raffles, cake bakes and tombola’s. “The whole day was a huge success and we all had fun for a great cause,” said Mark Smith, Operations Director for Convergys.
