Guinness Northern Counties - Oldham

This was the first time we hosted calls for Comic Relief and we were really proud to be part of it! Over 90 employees from every level in the organisation volunteered to handle over 2,700 calls and take donations of £98,941.30. The atmosphere was fantastic through the night and there were some incredible tales of people’s generosity, from the little boy who rang in to pledge his £5 pocket money through to the largest single donation of the night for an amazing £5,000.

We also had plenty of fun and games to enjoy in between shifts on the phone; we laid on food, music and competitions including Best Dressed Nose and a Wii tournament to help the party atmosphere along.

It was a fun and fast passed night and one we can’t wait to do again!
