HSBC - Hemel

On Friday 18th March 2011, HSBC Bank in Hemel Hempstead (Call Centre) took part in donation calls on behalf of Comic Relief from 6pm until midnight.

Over 80 employees volunteered to take part from all departments within the Call Centre from new starters to Management. A tombola was held to keep everyone motivated with lots of prizes to be won including one month's free membership and a beauty treatment, a round of golf and two tickets for Blood Brothers all donated by local companies, as well as lots of other goodies.

It was a fantastic night, we took 1,692 calls, bringing in £62,536.10 for Red Nose Day and had plenty of treats to keep everyone going. Leading up to the big night, the entire Call Centre had been raising money for Comic Relief by having a sponsored leg wax, the best joke quiz, name the teddy, decorate a nose and a cake sale raising £373.64.
