O2 - Bury

Once again O2 was very proud to be involved supporting donation lines. 280 volunteers across our Bury and Glasgow contact centres took 5,502 calls throughout the night. Between the two centres we took an astounding £179,593.36 in donations from the public.

We had volunteers travel to Bury from our nearby Leeds and Preston Brook sites as our usual O2 blue was turned red for the day. Competition was high between the sites with Bury taking £106,721.50 in donation calls. The highest donation taken was £2,565!

One of the evening’s highlights was the moment when footage of the day’s fundraising fun was featured in the BBC programme and brought everyone to their feet – the cheers have only just stopped ringing.
