Royal Mail - Sheffield

The Royal Mail HR Services Advice Centre Sheffield, became a hub of activity after hours on March 18th. Over 90 Volunteers from a number of business units came together to support this worth while charity event.

The Donation Centre ran from 6.45pm until Midnight with 65 agents taking calls. The remaining Volunteers took on roles as support staff including one of the most important duties of keeping the volunteers fed and watered.

We managed to handle 2619 calls amounting to just over £93,000.00 in donations, a huge increase on the £52,000 handled the previous year.

A big thank you goes to all the Volunteers, the Support team, and those that donated food and drink for the evening.
