Friday 18th March 2011 - what a fantastic night!

For the third time Sunderland City Council were excited and delighted to be signed up as a volunteer contact centre for RND.

With 125 members of staff on board we took over £96,000 and 3,000 calls for this amazing charity. Volunteers also took part in fun and games- mask competitions, face painting balloon competitions and spot prizes. Alongside taking donations we internally raised over £3,400 by selling raffle tickets.

A great night was had by all with such a huge feeling of pride in knowing that giving a little of our time will mean so much to so many people. We are very much looking forward to next time!
