We rely on BT’s technology and expertise, which includes telephony infrastructure, network management, call centres and online support, to be able to take donations during our Red Nose Day and Sport Relief telethons.

We really couldn’t get by without Carrenza’s Enterprise cloud computing services. “Cloud what?” we hear you say. Well, to put it simply, these guys provide us with virtual resources that power our websites and other internal systems. It means lots of oomph without the need for lots of cumbersome hardware.

The clever folks at Cisco help to keep everything safe and sound for us when we process hundreds of thousands of donations. Their network and security technology ensure that we receive donations at record-breaking levels, whilst keeping the bad guys out.

Ah, where would be without our HP BladeSystem solution? Really, we wouldn’t be anywhere. That’s because HP’s Blades and Virtual Connect powers the donation infrastructure for both Red Nose Day and Sport Relief.

To get where we are now has taken quite a while. To get better, we need to understand more about what we do well and what we can improve on. For this, Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle Database are really helpful tools for us.  They make the management and analysis of our data super easy.

We receive more and more online donations every year. And it’s thanks to PayPal that this is possible. They allow our supporters to donate quickly, easily and most importantly, securely, without sharing their financial information. Top stuff.
