Dress up (or down)
Join in the fun on Friday 15 March and encourage everyone to pay a small fee to go non-uniform or dress up for the day. Come to school in PJs, as your favourite superhero or just in all red everything.
Bake a difference
Bake a batch of home-made treats or pop to the shops for a ready-made cake (we won’t tell…), then set up shop to bring in some dough. Even if you’re more Betty Crocker than Mary Berry, our simple recipes are easy enough for anyone to make.
Go head to head
Tug of war or dance-off, football match or big debate, spark a little friendly (or fierce) competition between teachers and students. Charge teams an entry fee, sell tickets to spectators and set up a snack bar on the side.
Who doesn’t love a classic school disco? Get the lower school on board to put together a playlist and decorate the hall, then ask older students to sell tickets and set up a snack stall.
Host a big gig
Invite singers, dancers and would-be comedians to take to the stage for a Red Nose Day talent show. Sell tickets to students, parents, family and friends, then let the audience pay to pick a winner.
Need a quick fix to hit your target? Our easy extra ideas are all prepped and ready to go so just download the docs and send your total soaring.
Fingers on buzzers, donations in buckets, it’s Red Nose Day quiz time. As well as three rounds of questions, there’s a word search and other games.

Sell Red Noses
Selling Red Noses is a simple way to kick-start your fundraising. Order your boxes online, pay just £15 now then settle up once you’ve sold them all.
Up the stakes
Unicornetto or Sweeten Mess, Mallow Meringue or Piña Cake-lada, pay to guess Katherine Ryan’s favourite cupcake, then split the cash – £30 for the winner and £30 for Comic Relief.
