Call centres play a massive part in the success of both Red Nose Day and Sport Relief; taking thousands of donations and even fundraising themselves.

What's involved?

If being a Red Nose Day or Sport Relief call centre sounds like something you want to do, there are some requirements you need to meet:

  • You need to provide a minimum of 50 staffed lines, on a single deliver-to number, and be able to offer these lines between 6.30pm and midnight on our Night of TV.
  • You’ll need to recruit volunteers to cover the number of lines, plus a 20% surplus to keep line numbers consistent.

What we'll do

We know it takes planning to organise your Red Nose Day or Sport Relief call centre but we’ll be with you every step of the way.

You’ll have access to online resources, plus we host briefings around the country to make sure you know everything you need to before the big night. We also provide a Comic Relief contact to answer all your questions.

On the Night of TV itself, there’s a call centre helpdesk on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly.
