The opportunity

BT Supporters Club is an initiative which brings together BT and Comic Relief to help disadvantaged young people, both in the UK and in Comic Relief’s priority countries around the world. The funding is focused on catalysing impact through the use of sport as a tool for social change.

Projects will be invited to apply for funding in two areas:

  • Seed Grants: supporting innovative approaches and methodologies that bring something new to the sport for change space
  • Strategy Grants: taking proven, evidence-based approaches to sustainable scale (particularly supporting those organisations with a strong track record of delivery and who are willing and able to share best practice with others).

This fund will be open for applications on a rolling basis until January 2019 but is by invitation only.

Who can apply?

This fund is by invitation only

If you have an idea that you think achieves exceptionally strong impact and uses sport for social change, please tell us in less than 100 words. Email: sportforchange@comicrelief.com.

Due to the nature of this initiative, we regret that we are unable to respond to all queries.

Deadlines

The fund will invite applications and make awards on a rolling basis until January 2019.

This is a two-stage application process. If invited to apply, candidates will be first asked to submit an expression of interest that outlines the concept. If successful, candidates will then be invited to submit a full application
