Can't wait for our mammouth Red Nose Day show on BBC1 this Friday? Well you don't have to.
We're bringing together some of the nation’s favourite YouTubers in our first ever Red Nose Day pre-show, to stream this Friday, 15 March live on YouTube between 6-7pm.
Hosted by Rickie, Melvin and Charlie, Red Nose Day: Happy Hour Live will feature pointless competition, palm-sweating tension, and polite requests for money - all in aid of a great cause.
So far, we've got Lewys Ball (Lookingforlewys), Evie Clark (Lovevie), Football Daily and Doug Armstrong all vying to win the Happy Hour YouTuber Crown and raise lots of money for Comic Relief.
As a thank you, every donor who gives £10 or more, will receive a surprise piece of exclusive content from a selection of Comic Relief’s Happy Hour Live line up over the next 12 months.
There will also be a series of original digital sketches featuring the likes of Tom Rosenthal, of Friday Night Dinner and Plebs, giving fundraising tips to the socially awkward.
There will also be special tricks filmed exclusively for the show by YouTube magician Julius Dein, and more exclusive Comic Relief specials.
Bill Griffin, Executive Director of Brand and Creative, said:
“As online audiences continue to grow, Happy Hour Live marks Comic Relief’s ambition to bring relevant content, creators and charitable giving to a younger, digital-native audience. This show will be something else.”
Rickie Haywood-Williams said: “Red Nose Day is something that us three have grown up watching so it’s amazing to be presenting this show for Comic Relief.
"We can’t wait to get stuck in on the night, have lots of fun and raise as much money as possible for a fantastic cause!”
Red Nose Day: Happy Hour Live can be watched from 6pm this Friday 15th March.
All of the money raised will go towards helping give vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the UK and around the world a helping hand to turn their lives around.
