This World Malaria Day, we'd like to share with you our exclusive malaria learning materials created through our partnership with GSK. Nearly half the world's population is at risk of malaria and in 2015, there were 212 million new cases of malaria and 429,000 deaths. One child dies from malaria every two minutes; but progress is being made.
Use our learning materials to inspire your students to be part of the generation to end this preventable and treatable disease.
Our suite of lesson plans, PowerPoints and activity sheets can be used with A-Level students aged 16 -18 and are perfect for Science and Geography lessons.
We’re also providing a short film to support our learning resources which can be used to introduce students to the impact of malaria.
Listen to 13-year-old Patrick share his own experience of battling malaria – Patrick was so sick, he was hospitalised for three days. Thankfully, he made a full recovery but many children across the world don’t.
To find out more about Comic Relief’s partnership with GSK read our news article announcing the partnership or our article about our malaria event for schools which took place at the end of last year.
