How to enter

You can nominate yourself for one or more category for The Noseys. 2. Give us a short outline of what you did to raise money for Red Nose Day this year

3. Tell us why you think you should win

3. Tell us your top three tips for fundraising

4.  Send us at least 1 photo. More photos and videos welcome. Please also include a daytime telephone number.

  • All steps in the entry must be completed for your entry to count.
  • You must be 18 to submit a nomination. If you are under 18 your nomination must be submitted by a parent or guardian.

  • Photos and videos must be sent as an attachment to your email to ensure the highest quality possible. Only submit photos that you are happy to be posted on Comic Relief’s social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, emails and the Comic Relief website.
  • From the time nominations open, we will be contacting people to ask them to fill out and sign a contributor release form, to give us your consent to potentially share your story on our social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This doesn’t mean you are a winner. If you are under 18 this will need to be signed by your parent or guardian.
  • If you are shortlisted, we will contact you in the week beginning Monday 8th April (if not before) and winners will be announced on social media from Wednesday 10th April. All winners and runners up will be featured on our social media platforms, so make sure you are happy with this. Only your first name will be used in our social media announcement, alongside your photo.
  • By entering, you are consenting for us to contact you via your daytime telephone number and email with regards to your entry in The Noseys.
  • All timelines are subject to change and we can’t guarantee that your story, photos and/or videos will be featured.
  • By entering, you confirm that you raised money for Comic Relief as part of Red Nose Day 2019, and that any money you raised as part of your fundraising activity will be paid to Comic Relief in full. You also confirm that your fundraising activity was in line with the Comic Relief Fundraising Do’s and Don’ts
  • The winners and runners up will not receive any monetary compensation for the use and sharing of their stories and photos and/or videos.
  • If you are a teacher nominating a large group of children in your school, a whole class, or any whole-school activity, the Head Teacher of your school must fill out our consent form on behalf of the group. If you are a teacher wishing to nominate a small group of pupils who initiated their own activity, consent from each parent/guardian will be required.
  • Nominations will be judged by a panel of the Red Nose Day team. We will be judging the entries in each category in line with how well we feel they represent their category, as well as how imaginative, creative, inclusive and enthusiastic the fundraising activity has been.
  • We will hold your information for the purposes of choosing and communicating with the winners and runners up. To find out more about how we will use your information, see our privacy policy or contact us

  • We will contact any entries we receive that nominate someone else, asking them to get the person they are nominating to contact us. This is because we will need the nominated person to consent to their photo/story being shared on Comic Relief’s social media platforms should they be a winner or runner up. If you are contacted for this reason, it doesn’t mean that person is a winner or runner up.
