Individuals with Cystic Fibrosis need to complete a series of exhalations as a part of a physio routine aimed at reducing sticky mucus build-up in the lungs.

Playphysio have created a medical attachment that allows people living with Cystic Fibrosis to gamify their daily treatment through an app.

The app creates a fun way for young people to do painful and uncomfortable daily physio, while improving compliance and giving health care practitioners insight by collecting data.

The initiative offers benefits to patients and potential cost savings to the hospitals treating them.

This grant is supported through the Tech for Good programme which is co-funded by Comic Relief and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
