Hello nurseries and early years settings
Red Nose Day is back on Friday 19 March and we’re teaming up with CBeebies favourites JoJo and Gran Gran to celebrate a very special Red Nose Day carnival.
Things might look a little different this year, but with our virtual fundraising ideas and Covid-safe tips (including advice on handling cash), you and your little ones can still get involved and have lots of fun.

Fundraising ideas
We’re bringing some sunshine to your fundraising with our carnival-themed Red Nose Day activities.
fundraising ideas

Donate to dress up
Wear your brightest colours and boldest patterns, along with a homemade carnival crown. Don’t forget to collect donations at the door or on JustGiving.

Pay to picnic
Instead of holding a bake sale this year, switch it to a picnic to help everyone keep their distance. Ask everyone to make a donation then bring a blanket and their favourite treats.

Jared’s danceathon
Turn up the tunes and get sponsored to dance the day away, then crown a Groovy Monarch.
CHECK OUT OUR SUPER NEW MERCH
Meet Chief, Robin, Snail and the rest of the Red Nose gang – they’re all 100% plastic-free. And our great new range of T-shirts, featuring iconic Pixar characters and exclusive Charlie Mackesy designs, are all made from organic Fairtrade cotton. Shop instore at Sainsbury’s and online at tkmaxx.com and raise money to help people living incredibly tough lives.
Meet Elida

Elida is a lively, happy six-year-old who lives with her grandmother, Agnes. She was born with cerebral palsy, but Agnes was determined this wouldn’t hold her back and used to carry her to school every day.
Now, with the help of Feed the Children Malawi, funded by Comic Relief, Elida has a wheelchair and Agnes has learnt how to help her exercise.
Find out more about Elida with our learning activities.
If you or any of your little ones have been affected by the issues in this film, you’ll find information on how to get help at here.
Stay Safe
Red Nose Day might look a little different this year, but with our Covid-safe tips, nose safety tips, and virtual fundraising ideas, you can still get involved with your school.
