Everyone's business

Maternal Mental Health Alliance's Everybody's business campaign showing a mother and child.

In 2013, Comic Relief gave the Maternal Mental Health Alliance a grant to launch a campaign called Everyone’s Business. The campaign tackled the stigma surrounding maternal mental health issues and shed light on the unequal provision of specialist mental health care services for mums and their newborns, across the UK. It also led to the government pledging £355 million for perinatal mental health services, in 2015.

Their ambition is that, by 2023, all women in the UK will be able to access appropriate perinatal mental health support, whenever and wherever needed.
