2. One Red Nose Day and a Wedding

Charles was doomed to always be a bachelor, until he met the stunning Carrie… We all remember that big snog in the rain at the end. But did it work out for them?

Join the whole cast once again for a glittering reunion of the 1994 smash hit comedy Four Weddings and a Funeral, for a brand-new mini-film written by Richard Curtis and directed by returning director Mike Newell. 

Yet another wedding, 25 years later, but who’s walk down the aisle is it this time? One Red Nose Day and a Wedding airs on Red Nose Day Night of TV, Friday 15 March, BBC One.

5. ‘Spectacular!’ at the SSE Wembley

One for the grown-ups now; a Wembley gig of SPECTACULAR proportions! Comic Relief are launching our first ever ‘Spectacular!’ show, at the SSE Arena Wembley on Thursday 28th February 2019.

You’ll be seeing the likes of UK comedy heavyweights Jimmy Carr, John Bishop, Katherine Ryan, Alan Carr, Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett, Sir Lenny Henry… and we’ve just added Russell Howard to the line up too! A real gem in the 2019 comedy calendar.

6. Lord Alan Sugar is back.

But the best part of all of this is the people that we help with the funds that we raise.

Since Red Nose Day 2017, we have helped nearly 15 million people across the UK and in some of the world’s poorest communities. 2.6 million of them are children and vulnerable young adults.

At our core we are working to create a just world, free from poverty, and we ensure that our charitable grants and funds reach those who need them the most.

You will have opportunities every single step of the way to get involved with the fundraising fun for Red Nose Day, bring your office or your pupils’ primary school together for a bake sale or a party, and help raise some serious cash for a good cause.
