Hello secondary schools
Red Nose Day is back on Friday 19 March. Whether you dress up or down, take on a supercharged challenge or do a socially distanced quiz, let’s show the world that funny is power.
Things might look a little different this year, but with our Covid-safe tips and virtual fundraising ideas, you can still have loads of fun.
Fundraising ideas
Keep it simple with a couple of fundraising power hours or go all out with a supercharged challenge.

Sponsored superpower challenge
Reveal your class, bubble or school’s hidden superpower, then get sponsored to take on a Red Nose Day challenge. Our favourite? A power ballads danceathon, of course.

Donate to dress up
Join schools across the UK and invite students to donate to go non-uniform for the day. Pick a theme, show off your secret superpower or simply come as you are.

Pay-to-play quiz
Test your brain power with our free quiz and games pack. Pit class against class or students against teachers, charging an entry fee and selling tickets to spectators.
Download free resources
From posters, recipes and activity sheets to a ready-made quiz and curriculum-linked learning resources, download everything you need to make this Red Nose Day your best ever.
CHECK OUT OUR SUPER NEW MERCH
Meet Chief, Robin, Snail and the rest of the Red Nose gang – they’re all 100% plastic-free. And our great new range of T-shirts, featuring iconic Pixar characters and exclusive Charlie Mackesy designs, are all made from organic Fairtrade cotton. Shop instore at Sainsbury’s and online at tkmaxx.com and raise money to help people living incredibly tough lives.
Stay Safe
Red Nose Day might look a little different this year, but with our Covid-safe tips, nose safety tips, and virtual fundraising ideas, you can still get involved with your school.
Meet Courtney
17-year-old Courtney volunteers for her dad’s charity, Steps to Hope. He set it up to support people experiencing homelessness and addiction after recovering from substance abuse problems himself.
Watch our short film made especially for secondary schools to learn more about how your fundraising can help projects like this. Then use our curriculum-linked learning resources to explore some of the issues with your students.
If you or any of your students have been affected by the issues in this film, you’ll find information on how to get help here.
