The Re-Rooted programme will invest in organisations that specialise in delivering services and support for refugees and asylum seekers in the UK, and that are doing influencing work for safer routes and improved outcomes for people affected.

Plans for upcoming UK funding opportunity for the Racial Justice and Gender Justice sector

Comic Relief is thrilled to announce it will be launching a new UK funding opportunity in the first week of April 2024.

This call will seek to fund organisations and movements based in Northeast of England, Wales, West Midlands and/ or Yorkshire and the Humber seeking funding that strive for fairness and equity in their local communities.

We are offering multi-year, core and flexible funding for organisations that are led by and for the communities they serve, working across the areas of racial justice and gender justice for this funding call.

Plans for upcoming funding opportunity for the women and feminist movement in Sierra Leone

Comic Relief is excited to launch a new funding call for organisations located and working in Sierra Leone, in late March 2024. This programme will seek to fund and strengthen women’s and feminist movements in Sierra Leone. We will be offering multiyear, flexible and core funding to local women and gender expansive people led organisations. This opportunity is for established organisations already working in this area, registered in Sierra Leone.

Plans for upcoming UK funding opportunity for the Youth Homelessness sector

Comic Relief expects to launch a new funding opportunity in April for organisations that specialise in providing support to young people aged 16-25 in the UK, who are at risk of, or experiencing homelessness. This will be for organisations that are already working in this area.

Further funding criteria is being developed. More information about the funding and the application process will be made available in April 2024.

This funding opportunity is now closed to applications. The Smiles Fund will support early intervention and community-based approaches which use participation in the arts and comedy to have a positive effect on people’s mental wellbeing

Tech for Good 2021: Build

This initiative is now closed to applications. Tech for Good: Build is giving organisations the chance to explore new approaches to improve people’s lives, alongside access to technical support from experts and advisors.

CHANGE MAKERS

This initiative is now closed to applications. Change Makers is supporting innovative solutions to problems affecting vulnerable people that have been overlooked or under-resourced at a local, regional and national level.

SUPPORTING & SUSTAINING SPECIALISM

This initiative is now closed to applications. The Supporting & Sustaining Specialism fund is investing in projects to end Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) led by and for Black and minoritised women.
