1. By entering this prize draw, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. To enter this prize draw, you must be a UK resident and aged 18 years or over. This prize draw is not open to employees of Comic Relief, their close relatives, or anyone connected with the prize draw Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.
3. You can enter the prize draw for free or by making a voluntary donation to Comic Relief. You must also provide your name, address and telephone number on a piece of paper (ideally on an entry form provided by us) which will be added to a raffle box. You will be given one ticket per entry.
4. Payment of any donations can be made by cash or card.
5. There will be one winner of the prize at CarFest North. The winner will receive:
A private tour of David Brown Automotive, in the home of British motorsport, Silverstone
The opportunity to test drive Mini Remastered
Lunch with the founder of David Brown Automotive.
6. For the avoidance of doubt, unless specified above or otherwise agreed in writing, no other costs or expenses will be covered by Comic Relief.
7. Any accessibility or dietary requirements of the winner need to be disclosed to Comic Relief within two weeks from notification of the win. The winner may need to adhere to Health & Safety requirements imposed by Comic Relief or any venue associated with the prize.
8. Entry to the prize draw commences at 10:00 on 23rd July 2021 and closes at 16:00 on 25th July 2021.
9. The winner will be selected by random draw from the raffle box performed by a Comic Relief representative on 25th July 2021 and Comic Relief will contact them by telephone to notify them of their win within two days after this date. If the winner does not answer their phone after Comic Relief makes five attempts to call them, Comic Relief will contact the next eligible winner.
10. Comic Relief’s announcement as to the identity of the winner is final. No correspondence relating to the prize draw will be entered into.
11. Comic Relief must publish that a valid award took place. To comply with this requirement, Comic Relief will publish the surname and county of the winner and, if applicable, their winning entry on comicrelief.com on 30th September 2021. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact Comic Relief by emailing(opens in new window) us. For the avoidance of doubt, Comic Relief must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on their request.
12. The prize is as stated. There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be sold or transferred for value in any circumstances. If the winner wishes to give the prize to another person as a gift, express prior consent must be obtained from Comic Relief.
13. The prize is subject to change. Descriptions of the prize are provided without a warranty of any kind. In no event shall Comic Relief be liable for any claim demand or damages caused to an entrant by reason of a description of the prize being inaccurate, incomplete, or for the prize being otherwise in any way different to the entrant’s expectations. Comic Relief reserves the right to disqualify any entries that breach these rules or are in any way fraudulent. Comic Relief reserves the right to cancel the prize draw at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside its control.
14. Failure to claim the prize by the time or in the manner specified by Comic Relief will make any claim invalid.
15. If you enter and win a prize, you agree to take part in any reasonable post-prize publicity with Comic Relief if required.
16. Comic Relief may amend these terms and conditions from time to time and will make such changes by amending them on the Comic Relief website.
17. Comic Relief does not accept any responsibility for any network congestion, technical failure or other problem in any telephone line, network, system, provider or otherwise which results in any communication not being properly recorded or received.
18. To the extent permitted by law, Comic Relief exclude all warranties and representations (whether express or implied), and all its liability (including without limitation for negligence) regarding this competition or the prizes (other than for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence) including without limitation all indirect or consequential loss or damages, loss of profit, or loss or damage to data.
19. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
