The Lenny

Won by The Bravehearts Team

A team of 14 friends and runners from a boxing gym in Hamilton, united by a shared passion for pushing boundaries and making a difference, took on an extraordinary challenge inspired by Jamie Laing’s Ultra Marathon Man Challenge. The Long Way Doon Challenge saw them run an ultra-marathon every single day for 10 days, covering an incredible 400 miles from Glasgow all the way to London to raise £70,100 for Red Nose Day. They ran from sunrise to sunset, day after day, fuelled by grit, friendship, and the belief that laughter and generosity can change lives.

Class Act

Won by Morpeth Schools Partnership

Ten Morpeth schools re-united for another spectacular fundraising event titled “Morpeth Schools Rock Stars for Comic Relief”. The event saw staff and pupils transform into rock stars for the day, arriving in a dazzling array of creative costumes and ready to perform. Planning for the celebration began almost a year ago, when pupils started choreographing a fun, child-friendly dance alongside their school dance teacher and choreographer Miss Kelly. Together they produced a tuition video, enabling schools across Morpeth to learn the routine in advance. The event raised £1,040.

Solo Superstar

Won by Curt Weston

Curt took on an extraordinary fundraising challenge, pounding the streets of London as he ran an incredible 523 kilometers over just five days and raised £10,335 for Comic Relief. From dawn until dusk, he navigated the capital to reach all 272 London Underground stations, turning the city into his running route. This feat demanded exceptional physical endurance, meticulous planning and an unwavering commitment.

Dream Team

Won by Trusham Revels

Residents of a Teign Valley village came together to raise £1,172 for Red Nose Day by organising and performing ‘The Revel’, a much‑loved variety show that has been staged in Trusham for over a century, dating back to at least 1884. Drawing on this rich local tradition, a cast spanning all ages took to the stage to entertain the community with a joyful mix of humorous sketches, lively dances, singing, and live music.

Rising Star

Won by Flora Walker

An avid ‘cartwheeler’, Flora turned her passion into an impressive fundraising feat and raised £2,085 by cartwheeling around the entire perimeter of her school in support of Red Nose Day. Taking on an ambitious and physically demanding challenge, she completed more than 200 cartwheels, pushing herself far beyond the expected to raise funds and awareness. Flora’s creativity, determination, and sheer energy brought smiles to many.

Sporty Star

Won by MRS Digital

MRS Digital took teamwork to a whole new level by rowing an astonishing 200 kilometers together to raise £2,138. Using two rowing machines and a non‑stop relay, sixteen team members pushed through nearly eight hours of rowing, seamlessly swapping in and out to reach their goal. Powered by determination, humour, and constant encouragement, the challenge was a true demonstration of unity, resilience, and pulling together, literally and figuratively.

A massive thank you to every single person who dressed up, partied, sung, danced, challenged themselves and got stuck in fundraising for Comic Relief. You’ve helped us make such a huge difference to countless lives both here in the UK and around the world. Without you we simply could not do it. Thank you!
