Rare Four Weddings and a Funeral items up for grabs via eBay

Comic Relief has launched an exciting eBay auction featuring unique Four Weddings and Funeral film memorabilia, following the premiere of the ‘One Red Nose Day and a Wedding’ short for Red Nose Day.

The short film screened to enthusiastic audiences on Friday 15th March reunited the Four Wedding and a Funeral cast members for the first time in 25 years, as well as featuring special guests Sam Smith and Lily James.

The auction is offering fans across the nation the chance to own their very own piece of One Red Nose Day and a Wedding, including signed scripts by the cast and writer Richard Curtis, stunning designer outfits worn by the cast members, a tambourine from the short film signed by Sam Smith and Nicola Walker, an original program from the 1994 Four Weddings premiere and a Tatty Devine ring modelled on the much-loved heart ring from the film.

The outfits auctioned include a Prince of Wales suit worn by Hugh Grant and dresses worn by Andie MacDowell, Kristin Scott Thomas and the fabulous contemporary wedding dress, plus adorable bridesmaids dresses, worn by Lily James and her bridesmaids for the One Red Nose Day and a Wedding comedy short.

Emma Freud, Executive Producer of Red Nose Day, said: “We were thrilled to bring back the original cast and director of the original film for Red Nose Day and it’s so exciting to now be giving anyone who liked the movie the chance to take home some rare memorabilia.”

Murray Lambell, Vice President of Trading eBay UK, said: “We’re thrilled to continue our longstanding relationship with Comic Relief and use our eBay for Charity platform to give fans the chance to bring home their very own piece of Four Weddings and a Funeral. Last year, our eBay for Charity programme raised £22.5m for charities throughout the UK, and we very much look forward to raising more vital funds this Red Nose Day for Comic Relief.”

Money raised through these generous bids will go to Comic Relief and all the money raised this Red Nose Day will help change countless lives, both here in the UK and worldwide.
