The three-year partnership between Comic Relief and the Premier League will use the power of football to help improve children's mental health and wellbeing across England and Wales.

The project will work with children and young people to develop and design mental health and wellbeing education resources and will upskill teachers and coaching staff around mental health and wellbeing session delivery.
Grants will be distributed to professional football club charities through the Premier League Foundation.
This project is aligned with Comic Relief’s vision of a just world free from poverty - by using football to engage young people in meaningful mental health and wellbeing initiatives, the project reflects Comic Relief’s commitment by addressing the mental health challenges disproportionately affecting disadvantaged communities. The initiative builds on Comic Relief’s successful "Ahead of the Game" grants programme, that supported people with mental health needs across the UK, Rwanda and Uganda.
